"Shipping was quicker than I expected"
I ordered from TASER Self-Defense the shipping was fast — faster than I figured it would be. The tracking updates were okay... not perfect, but enough that I could tell where the package was. It showed up in good shape, just a little later in the day than I thought it would. I’m giving 4 stars because the checkout email took a while to come through, which was kind of annoying, but overall it was a decent experience.

"Not really easy for me to use"
I thought setting it up would be more simple, but it was kind of confusing and a little annoying, honestly. I got through it, but not in a smooth way, if that makes sense.

"Customer service was a letdown"
I had to reach out to TASER Self-Defense support with a question about my order, it was frustrating. It took days to hear back, and when they finally responded, it really seemed like they hadn’t read what I actually wrote.

I sent the same details again and still got what felt like a generic copy-and-paste reply. The product might be fine, but the customer service made the whole experience way more annoying than it needed to be. I wouldn’t order again...

I had some issue with my unit and tried to go through the warranty process. It took a while to hear back, and I feel like I had to explain the same stuff a couple times. They did eventually respond and sort of deal with it, but the whole thing was more of a hassle than I expected. Support wasn’t exactly great.

"Solid Safety Features, Because Apparently I Need Those"
The safety features seem solid overall. It’s not perfect, of course, because that would be far too convenient, but I do feel more confident using it.

"Battery died way too fast"
The battery seriously wouldn’t hold a charge for long at all. It died way quicker than I expected, which was frustrating.

"Honestly, I expected better"
I bought this thinking it would be solid, but nope. It worked the first time, then misfired on me during practice, which was super frustrating in the moment. For what it costs, I really expected it to be a lot more reliable

"Good value and actually useful"
It’s a little on the pricey side, but it feels fair for what you get. It’s simple, useful, and does what I need, so I’m happy with it.

I’ve been using this for a bit now and it’s been reliable. The battery holds up well enough for what I need, if that makes sense. No complaints so far.

"Honestly a little disappointing for the price"
I was really hoping this would feel more solid, but the body feels flimsy in person. For what I paid, I expected something sturdier, so I’m a bit let down

The site itself was fine and easy to use, but I’d definitely recommend checking your local laws before doing anything. It’s one of those little details that’s easy to overlook, but it matters.
